I'd actually be okay with getting Hall as a rental if it means finding ourselves a bonafide top-line winger for this season and a possible playoff run.
If I recall correctly, LD and Hall had some insane chemistry playing on the same line.
The problem is the cost. What could we realistically offer? |

Puljujarvi, Jones, Gagner and 2020 1st (cond. on making the conference Finals; if not, it becomes 2021 1st) |

I would be okay with that honestly.
Would NJ? |

That's actually pretty dope. |

Probably not. They probably want one higher end prospect in the deal along with a cond. 1st. I'd be hoping the guaranteed 1st makes up for the difference, but it's hard to say. |

I'd rather:
McDavid- Drai- Kassian
Hall- RNH- (whoever)
But I'd also rather add Palmieri for a slightly lesser package.

Change Jones to Bouchard and you got a deal! |

I hope he gets traded to Florida where he won't be under the microscope the rest of the season. |

I'm really hoping for a more stable prospect than Puljujarvi back. |

And the first isn't going to be conditional. If anything a later round pick say a 3rd which turns into a second if the team advances to such and such round makes more sense. |

The inclusion of a 1st isn't conditional; it's merely a matter of which one you'd get. |

Or maybe many of us legitimately don’t give a rats ass about the Leafs and the Eastern Conference as a whole?
Same could be said for many Eastern Conference hockey fans concerning the West I’d think.
Don’t take everything so personally. |

Oh FFS...
Must we politicize every single (frank)ing thing? SERIOUSLY?
So (frank)ing sick of politics and all the divisive hate it causes. (frank)ing self inflicted plague on the whole of (frank)ing humanity. |

I think he meant that there are bigger things to talk about...like the possible return of Taylor Hall. |

My point was it doesn't have to be said in the title. It makes it seem like yes, the Leafs matter a hell of a lot. |
